The 1998 Kennedy Half Dollar is part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Clad and Silver Proof 1971 to Date series. The design is the work of Gilroy Roberts/Frank Gasparro. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, with a diameter of 30.61 mm, and a 150 reeds edge. Produced at the Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco Mints.
