Description
This page is the piece PCGS lists as the 1997 1/2 Pu, recorded here at 15.55 grams. This is a privately issued modern piece, not a coin of Hawaii. The Kingdom's own coins are the 1847 cent and the silver coins dated 1883. The title calls it a half penny; its weight and its place beside the one-ounce platinum Akahi Puela suggest a half-ounce platinum piece (see the audit). PCGS number 245855.
