1996 Radical MAD Die Clash MDC-1C-1996-02

Description

MDC-1c-1996-02 This 1996 cent shows an impression from the edge of the field portion of the die extending from the front of Lincoln’s coat and passing through the second 9.  The faint letter traces that punctuate the internal border of the curved ridge probably represent the “ER” of AMERICA.  This horizontally and vertically misaligned die clash was discovered by Richard Imburgia.
