The 1996 (D) Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games Tennis Dollar is a dollar from the Denver Mint, belonging to the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. The Denver Mint struck 16,693 uncirculated Atlanta Olympic Tennis dollars dated 1996. The obverse shows a tennis player and the reverse the torch logo of the Atlanta organizing committee, shared by the four 1996 Olympic dollars. Coined at Denver's facility, which transitioned from processing Colorado gold rush metal to full-scale coin production in 1906. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9724.
