A cent from the Denver Mint, the 1996 (D) Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games High Jump Dollar belongs to the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. The Denver Mint struck 16,485 uncirculated Atlanta Olympic High Jump dollars dated 1996. The obverse shows a high jumper and the reverse the torch logo of the Atlanta organizing committee, shared by the four 1996 Olympic dollars. Coined at Denver's facility, which transitioned from processing Colorado gold rush metal to full-scale coin production in 1906. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9730.
