Description
The 1977 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent is a cent produced at the Denver Mint as part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C.. Standard production from Philadelphia and Denver. Combined mintage exceeded 7.5 billion. Struck at the Denver Mint, established in 1906 from an earlier assay office that processed Colorado gold rush metal.
