1944 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-003

Description

A close spread towards the center shows on the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found to the left of the B in LIBERTY. A small die gouge can be found to the left of the lower lip. Three die gouges can be found between the lower back of the head and the Y in LIBERTY. Numerous die scratches can be found throughout the obverse. Reverse: A die gouge can be found to the left of the lower E in STATES. Obverse:
