Description
Extra thickness and notching, increasing in strength from left to right, shows on USA, EPU, and the dots.Die Markers: Obverse: E/W die scratch right of the 2 in the date. X-shaped die scratches above Liberty's rear heel. N/S die scratches through and above IGWT. Scribbling die scratches through upper right obverse. E/W die scratches on the flag in front of the face. E/W die scratches left of the E in LIBERTY. NE/SW die scratch right of the B in LIBERTY. Die gouge right of the bottom of the L in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die scrape between the F in OF and the first A in AMERICA. NE/SW die crack across the tail feathers. NE/SW die scratches behind the eagle's left talon. NE/SW die scratches on the eagle's neck. NW/SE die scratches from the upper edge of the eagle's left wing.
