1939 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A Class II spread toward the center shows on the 3 of the date, IGWT, the skirt lines, the curl of the flag below the B of LIBERTY and the star behind the head. Die Markers: Obverse: Light die scratch SSE from the lower left side of the E in WE to the gown folds behind the leg. Light E/W die scratches through WE. Reverse: Heavy die scratches south from the upper underside of the TED of UNITED.
