The 1937 Texas Half Dollar is a half dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Classic Silver Commemoratives (1892-1954) series. With a mintage of just 6,571, this is a rare issue sought by specialists. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, each authorized by an individual act of Congress, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by Pompeo Coppini. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 12.5 grams, 30.6 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9390.
