The 1935 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-003 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1935 Buffalo Nickel, part of the Buffalo Nickels 1913-1938 series. Die markers: UVC-140 DMR-005 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Circular die scratches around perimeter of Reverse – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Cross-referenced as FS-803.
