1926 (S) Lincoln Wheat Cent Rim Cud (Obverse 5:30)
Error
Description
This 1926 (S) Lincoln Wheat cent displays a rim cud on the obverse at 5:30. The break sits along the lower right rim below the date, where the obverse die lost part of its rim gutter; on the coin it appears as a raised interruption in the design rim that tracks the rim's course. Obverse rim cuds are the scarcer of the two orientations on Lincoln cents.
