Description

The 1926 (D) Peace Dollar is a dollar minted at the Denver Mint, within the Peace Dollars 1921-1935 series. The obverse features a youthful Liberty facing left wearing a radiate crown, designed after sculptor Anthony de Francisci's wife Teresa and the reverse displays a bald eagle perched on a rock above the word PEACE, with rays of sunlight.
