The 1922 Grant Half Dollar is a half dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Classic Silver Commemoratives (1892-1954) series. The U.S. Mint produced 67,405 examples, making this the highest mintage among 3 variants, accounting for 94% of the year's production. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, each authorized by an individual act of Congress and the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Minted during and after World War I, as America emerged as a global power and experienced the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties.
