About This Coin
The 1916 Quarter Patterns page groups Hermon A. MacNeil's 1916 Standing Liberty quarter patterns in the Design Reform Patterns (1880-1942) series, struck at the Philadelphia Mint: the first design with two olive branches around the reverse (J-1988, formerly J-1796a) and a piece from different dies (J-1989, formerly J-1795). J-1796 is a delisted number.
