Description
The 1915 (S) Philippine Twenty Centavos is a cent produced at the San Francisco Mint as part of the Philippines Twenty Centavos 1903-1945 series. Total mintage reached 655,000. The obverse features a female figure standing beside an anvil, while the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Designed by Melecio Figueroa. Struck in silver. Cataloged as PCGS #90309. The Philippine Twenty Centavos was struck in silver and saw active circulation in the Philippine Islands. The 1905-S is a scarce early date. WWII-era issues from the Denver and San Francisco Mints are more available.
