1903-P VAM-3 (Near Date) Doubled 3 Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974. 3 III2 3 - C4a (Doubled 3) (189) Obverse III2 3 - Closed 9. (Near Date) 3 doubled slightly at inside of upper loop. Reverse C4a - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Exact same die pair produced 1903-P VAM-1C (now delisted), 1903-P VAM-3, 1903-P VAM-11B, 1903-P VAM-12 & 1903-P VAM-12A. In 1974 when this coin was first described LVA had not yet started to describe "collar clashes". This VAM is known with collar clash from 1-3 o'clock.
