=1899-S VAM-6 Doubled 99, Spiked S= Discovered by George Mallis, June 1965. 6 III2 2 - C3d (Doubled 99, Spiked S) Obverse III2 2 - Open 9's. First 9 doubled at bottom right. Second 9 doubled inside the lower loop. Reverse C3d - Wide large S mint mark tilted to right with a wide spike at top. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This reverse shared w/ 1899-S VAM-4, 1899-S VAM-6 & 1899-S VAM-17, In Fact - It appears they are all the same die pair!
