1898-S VAM-15A Open 9, S Tilted Right, Clached Obverse st Discovery 2009 (John Coxe) 15A III2 2 - C3d (Open 9, S Tilted Right, Clashed Obverse st) (?) Obverse III2 2- Clashed die with partial incuse of st of Trust from obverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Light polishing lines on obverse and reverse fields which removed most of the die chash marks. Reverse C3d- Mint mark tilted slightly to the right. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: This reverse shared w/ 1898-S VAM-5, 1898-S VAM-8, 1898-S VAM-8A, 1898-S VAM-9, 1898-S VAM-13, 1898-S VAM-15 & VAM-15A. The obverse die is DIFFERENT from that for the VAM-15. The date is in the normal lateral position, with an open 9. (The ball of the 9 does not touch the upper loop.)
