Morgan VAM. 16A (revised) III2 11 · C3b (O Set High, Clashed Obverse In, t & O, Reverse m) (181) Obverse III2 11– Doubled of second 8 at bottom inside of upper loop indistinct from die wear. Clashed die with faint partial incuse I and almost full incuse n of In from reverse showing next to Liberty head neck and partial incuse t of Trust from reverse showing in right hair vee of lower hair edge. Partial incuse top of O of O mint mark from reverse showing above right wheat leaf. Reverse C3b - Clashed die with faint raised designer's initial M from obverse showing above d in God. DPIS - C3/RE4 Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Former VAM 4A This die stage is sufficiently late that the doubling seen on VAM 16 has become indistinct.
