Description
1897-S VAM-9 Near Date Discovered by Martin Field, January 1981. Revised November 2024 9 III2 12 • C3j (Thread Impression, Crack at Cap) (190) Obverse III2 12 - Later die stage with crack across top of cap extending across wheat leaves and L in LIBERTY. Vertical crack on forehead into hair. Reverse C3j - S mint mark centered and upright. Re-engraved wreath leaves above N in ONE.
