1897-O VAM-10 Low Date, High O Set Left, Tilted Right, Beveled Field STA Discovery 2010 by Jason Henrichsen 10 III2 5- C3f (Low Date, High O Set Left, Tilted Right, Beveled Field STA) (181) Obverse III2 5 - Date set low in normal lateral position. Two short diagonal die scratches above UN. Reverse C3f - III O mint mark set high and to left with tilt to right. Beveled field near STA in STATES. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: There is a nice long gouge at the end of the cap ribbon at the hair. Tilt of the mint mark is not as strong as on 1897-O VAM-15
