Revised 2014 - Hobocarver-Ray Castro 2 (revised) III2 2 - C3b (Doubled 92, Far Date, High O) (181) Obverse III2 2 - Doubled 92 with slightly doubled 9 at lower right inside of upper loop and 2 doubled at top outside. 2 not as open as VAM 10. Date set at left side of further right than normal with slight slant with 1 closer to rim than 2. ''Die Marker'' - X polishing lines at top of Liberty head, neck and small dot t right of right cotton boll. Reverse C3b - Medium III O mint mark set high. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Easily mistaken for the 1892-O VAM-15 because of the far slanted date. Since some of the rare prooflikes are from this die pair, like the one imaged here, the arrow doubling for 1892-O VAM-15 can appear to be there. The clear doubling above the 2 in the date is what marks this obverse distinctly.
