Revised 2016. by Tmanhg 7 (revised) III2 1 - C3f (S Tilted and Shifted Left, Die Gouges Cap, Die Break Neck) (187, 188) Obverse III2 1 - 1890-S VAM-7.1 - Long segmented die gouge at top of Phrygian cap, above right cotton boll and to right of lower cotton leaf. Reverse C3f - IV S mint mark tilted and shifted slightly to the left. ''Die marker -'' Polishing lines in eagle's wing-neck gap. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 1890-S VAM-7.1 and 1890-S VAM-7.2 share the exact reverse die but different obverse pairings. # 1890-S VAM-7.1 shares obverse with 1890-S VAM-48 (The "Die Break Neck" is not on all 1890-S VAM-7.1). # 1890-S VAM-1J became the 1890-S VAM-7A.
