Revised 2016. by Tmanhg 7.1 (revised) III2 1 - C3f (S Tilted and Shifted Left, Die Gouges Cap, Die Break Neck) (187, 188) Obverse III2 1 - Die 1 - Long segmented die gouge at top of Phrygian cap, above right cotton boll and to right of lower cotton leaf. ''Die marker -'' Polishing lines in TY of LIBERTY. Reverse C3f - IV S mint mark tilted and shifted slightly to the left. ''Die marker -'' Polishing lines in eagle's wing-neck gap. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence 7.2, 7.1 :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Die 1 and Die 2 share the exact reverse die but different obverse pairings. # Die 1 shares obverse with 1890-S VAM-48. # VAM-1J became the 1890-S VAM-7A & is the exact same die pair as the 1890-S VAM-7.1.
