The 1874 Proof Cent Pattern - J-1346 is a proof cent pattern struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Metric & Stella Patterns (1874-1879) series. It was struck from the regular 1874 Indian Head cent dies. USPatterns.com notes that Pollock does not list a copper striking and that any that exist probably pass as regular proofs; it regards the nickel striking, J-1346a, as a mint error. It is struck in copper with a plain edge. USPatterns.com rates it R-8. It is also catalogued as Adams-Woodin 1397. Pollock does not list it. Cataloged as PCGS #61650.
