Description
Completing the fifth design group, J-905 renders the single-star headband Liberty Head and STANDARD wreath reverse in aluminum with a plain edge. This final variety in the group pairs the lightest composition with the most medallic edge treatment, producing a piece that bears minimal resemblance to a functional coin despite depicting a standard denomination. The wreath reverse on aluminum often shows particularly crisp leaf veining, as the soft metal flows readily into the finest die details under striking pressure. J-905 closes a design group that spans the full spectrum from production-ready silver to experimental aluminum.
