The 1866 Proof Dollar Pattern - J-541 is a proof silver dollar pattern struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Reconstruction Era Patterns (1866-1869) series. It was struck from the regular 1866 Seated Liberty dollar dies, with the motto, so its design matches the regular coin; only the metal differs.
