Description

The 1864 Two Cent CU-2c-1864-15 & 16 is a cud error, a type of major die break at the rim where a piece of the die broke away, creating a raised featureless blob at the edge of the coin. This variety was discovered on the 1864 Two Cent Piece - Large Motto, part of the Two Cent Pieces 1864-1873 series.
