The 1795 Flowing Hair Half Dime is a dime produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Flowing Hair Half Dimes 1794-1795 series. The U.S. Mint produced 78,660 examples. The obverse features Liberty facing right with flowing hair, surrounded by stars, while the reverse displays a small, naturalistic eagle perched on a palm branch within a wreath. Designed by Robert Scot. Struck in 89.2% silver, 10.8% copper, weighing 1.35 grams, 16.5 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #4251.
