The 1794 Liberty Cap Right Half Cent - Low Relief Head, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, is part of the Liberty Cap Right Half Cents 1794-1797 collection. The Mint struck 81,600 half cents dated 1794 in all; how many carry the Low Relief Head is not recorded. The obverse features Liberty facing right with a Phrygian cap on a pole behind her head and the reverse displays a wreath enclosing HALF CENT and 1/200. First year of the Liberty Cap Right Half Cent. Multiple Cohen die varieties exist. Struck in copper, weighing 6.74 grams, 23.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered: two hundred for a dollar edge. Cataloged as PCGS #35015.
