For 2026, the obverse includes a special Liberty Bell privy mark with "250" for the Semiquincentennial.
Iowa: Dr. Norman Borlaug and the Green Revolution
Iowa's coin honors Dr. Norman Borlaug, the Iowa-born agronomist whose work in developing high-yield, disease-resistant wheat varieties is credited with saving an estimated one billion lives.
