Copper-nickel, letter d: that is the metal of Fuld PA-765P-6d, die pair 6 under Pittock's merchant letter P in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, town 765. It carries NGC's 1861-65 date range. The dies, as one dealer lists them on a copper specimen, join a merchant side naming Pittock's depot opposite the post office with an eagle-and-shield reverse. Brass and white metal strikings of the pair exist as well.
