Description

NGC brackets Fuld NJ-555C-5a, a copper card of J. Wightman, as 1861-65. The code reads New Jersey (NJ), Newark (town 555), merchant C and die pair 5, with letter a for copper. Wightman's name is read from the dies of other pairs: on die pair 8, a dealer pairs it with Newark and, on the reverse, the words Our Country set in a wreath.
