Description
Fuld NJ-555C-11d puts die pair 11 of J. Wightman on copper-nickel, the d at the end of the number. NGC gives 1861-65. In the code, NJ is New Jersey, 555 Newark and C Wightman. As one dealer sees the dies, the merchant side names Wightman of Newark and the reverse, stock die 1267, carries the promise IOU 1 Cent. The pair's German silver piece is 11j.
