According to a dealer describing this brass striking of die pair 44, the reverse of Fuld OH-165CY-44b is a stock die lettered for boots, shoes and Yankee notions, and the obverse is W. K. Lanphear's die-sinker legend for Cincinnati. Ohio comes first in the code, then 165 for Cincinnati and CY for Lanphear; letter b is brass. NGC dates it 1861-65. Lanphear is merchant CY.
