The MCMVII (W) Saint-Gaudens High Relief Gold Coin (2026 Best of the Mint) is a gold double eagle struck at the West Point Mint, part of the Best of the Mint 2026 series. The obverse features Liberty striding forward holding a torch and olive branch, with rays of sunlight behind her and the reverse displays a flying eagle with the rising sun behind it. The Mint lists it with an uncirculated finish. Struck at the West Point Mint, originally a bullion depository that became a full coin production facility, specializing in commemorative and bullion issues. Struck in 99.99% gold (.9999 fine), one troy ounce of gold, 30.61 mm in diameter, with E PLURIBUS UNUM in raised letters on the edge.
