The obverse shows Esao Andrews's Liberty facing right, her hair swept back and her cap marked with stars and stripes, and the reverse shows Eric David Custer's eagle in flight holding arrows, with LIBERTY OVER TYRANNY. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. The Philadelphia Mint, America's oldest coin-making facility, has struck coins continuously since 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $0.10 to $3 depending on grade and condition.
