Description

The 2025 (S) United States Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Commemorative Half Dollar is a commemorative half dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. The San Francisco Mint struck 9,836 uncirculated United States Marine Corps 250th Anniversary half dollars dated 2025. Part of the Marine Corps 250th Anniversary three-coin program, this half dollar bridges the gap between the Corps' Revolutionary War origins and its modern capabilities. The obverse features a modern Marine alongside a Continental Marine, representing the Corps' 250-year evolution, while the reverse displays the Marine Corps official emblem — the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. Designed by Emily Damstra and Eric David Custer (obverse), Donna Weaver and Craig A. Campbell (reverse). Struck in copper-nickel clad copper, weighing 11.34 grams, 30.6 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #971027.
