Description
The 2025 (S) Proof Roosevelt Dime is a proof dime struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the Roosevelt Dimes Clad and Silver Proof 1965 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 304,716 examples. The obverse features Franklin D. Roosevelt facing left, honoring the president who championed the March of Dimes, while the reverse displays a torch flanked by olive and oak branches, symbolizing liberty, peace, and strength. Designed by John R. Sinnock. Struck in copper-nickel clad c, weighing 2.27 grams, 17.91 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #941587. The Roosevelt Dime was introduced in 1946, shortly after President Franklin D. Silver Roosevelt Dimes (1946-1964) are collected for both numismatic interest and silver content. Full Bands (FB) and Full Torch (FT) designations add premium value. Proof issues from 1950-1964 are popular.
