The 2013 (P) 5-Star Generals Commemorative Five Dollar Gold is a commemorative dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. With a mintage of just 5,667, this is a scarce issue sought by specialists. The gold coin in the 5-Star Generals program, this $5 piece features Douglas MacArthur, perhaps the most iconic American general of the 20th century. The obverse features a portrait of General Douglas MacArthur with 5-star insignia, while the reverse displays the Leavenworth Lamp, symbol of the Command and General Staff College.
