The 2005 (P) Proof Marine Corps Dollar is a proof dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. Total mintage reached 548,810. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, authorized by Congress to honor significant American events, people, and institutions, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue.
