The 2004 (P) Edison Dollar is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. The U.S. Mint produced 92,510 examples. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, authorized by Congress to honor significant American events, people, and institutions, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by Donna Weaver/John Mercanti. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #21004.
