The 2000 (P) Leif Ericson Millennium Commemorative Dollar is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. With a mintage of 28,100, this is a scarce issue. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, authorized by Congress to honor significant American events, people, and institutions, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue.
