The 1999 (P) American Eagle One Hundred Dollar Platinum represents a Philadelphia Mint issue from the American Eagle One Hundred Dollar Platinum 1997 to Date series. The Mint sold 56,707 one-ounce bullion coins dated 1999 to its authorized purchasers. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty facing forward and the reverse displays an eagle soaring over the sunrise. Struck in 99.95% platinum, weighing 31.12 grams, 32.7 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9776.
