Struck in 99.95% platinum, weighing 7.78 grams, 22 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. The quarter-ounce American Platinum Eagle contains 1/4 troy ounce of .9995 fine platinum. Part of the four-size Platinum Eagle family, the $25 denomination was available from 1997 to 2008 in bullion format. Produced in bullion format from 1997 to 2008.
