The 1995 (S) Proof Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games Baseball Commemorative Half Dollar is a proof half dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the Modern Commemorative Half Dollars (1982-Date) series. The San Francisco Mint struck 119,396 proof Atlanta Olympic Baseball half dollars dated 1995. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue and the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. As a proof issue, this coin was struck multiple times on specially prepared polished planchets using polished dies, producing mirror-like fields and frosted design elements. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, established during the California Gold Rush and now primarily producing proof and collector coins.
