The 1993 Washington Quarter is part of the Washington Clad and Silver Proof Quarters 1965-1998 series. The design is the work of John Flanagan. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, with a diameter of 24.3 mm, and a reeded edge. Produced at the Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco Mints.
