The 1988 (W) Seoul Olympiad Commemorative Five Dollar Gold is a dollar produced at the West Point Mint as part of the Modern Commemorative Five Dollar Gold (1984-Date) series. The U.S. Mint produced 62,913 examples. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by Elizabeth Jones/Marcel Jovine. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 8.36 grams, 21.6 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9630.
