The 1985 (P) Jefferson Nickel is a nickel produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. The U.S. Mint produced 647.1 million examples, making this the higher-mintage of the two mint variants, representing 58% of production. The obverse features Thomas Jefferson facing left and the reverse displays Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's Virginia estate. Moderate mintages from both Philadelphia and Denver.
